(Ormosia)

Appearance
This wood is mostly salmon colored with a wide range of color variability between pale pinks to darker purplish reds with occasional dark striping.

Specifications:
Unfinished 3" x 3/4" solid hardwood flooring.
No stains used.

Lengths:
12" to 84" long.

Color change over time:
Rosewood undergoes a medium degree of color change from a pink red to a slightly deeper medium red.

Finishing:
This wood is easy to finish and does not require any special treatment.  The yellowing effect of oil-based finishes adds life and warmth to this red wood.  To prevent the yellowing effect use a water-bases finish.
