Olivewood / Taperyvá Pronounced: tap-e-ry-vA
(Ferreirea spectabilis) Appearance Very hard, durable wood. Olivewood projects dark green tones and a pronounced grain with woven appearance, in many ways resembling Teak. Streaks from light orange to brown and some yellow are not uncommon but the overall color is olive brown. Specifications Unfinished and prefinished 3 1/4" x 3/4" solid hardwood flooring. No stains used. Lengths An average length of 38" is common with lengths ranging from 12" to 84". Color change over time The overall appearance of this floor does not change much over time though it does become a little darker over the years. Finishing This wood reacts well to most finishes commonly used for finishing hardwood floors.
